About Mevii

What is Mevii?
Mevii is a secure and integrated mobile app designed to help individuals manage the symptoms of mild to moderate depression, anxiety and stress. Informed by evidence-based therapeutic strategies, Mevii provides helpful knowledge, practical tools, practice activities and more.

Why should I use Mevii?
You should use Mevii to help develop practical skills for:

  • Coping with emotional distress
  • Managing the symptoms of stress and mild to moderate anxiety and depression
  • Discovering healthy habits

Who can use Mevii?
Any individual aged 18 or older can use Mevii.

How do I use Mevii?
Mevii is available in the most frequently used app store. Once downloaded, simply tap the Mevii app icon to get started.

What do I have to do to use Mevii?
Mevii is available to individuals for an annual fee of $3.99 and to authorized users of certain organizations that purchase Mevii for use by their employees, covered lives or members.

Can I request a new feature or make a suggestion for improvement?

Using Mevii

Can I use Mevii when I am not connected to the internet? 
Progression through the program (including access to the videos) and Ask Mevii resources are only available with Wi-Fi or mobile data connectivity.

Can I go back and review Modules and topics I’ve already done or jump ahead?
Yes, once you have completed the assessments you can go anywhere in Mevii. The curriculum has been designed to build on information as presented, so we recommend going through the modules in order. You are free, of course, to skip around to any module or topic you think would be most helpful.

Can I find and re-watch the relaxation and mindfulness videos?
You can always access the relaxation audio tracks from the Home screen under the Relax button. Videos that illustrate various concepts or examples can be accessed within the program.

How does Mevii stay connected to my phone?
Mevii is downloaded directly onto your device. Mevii then communicates to our secure server using your data plan or Wi-Fi connection. Mevii can only be used when you are connected to the internet.

Privacy and Security of Mevii

What information does Mevii collect?
Mevii keeps track of how much you access the app, your responses, your progression through the activities, and general patterns of app use, all in a de-identified manner.

Is the information I type in Mevii secure?
We understand that maintaining your privacy is extremely important. Thrive 4-7, LLC takes the security of your information very seriously and we ensure that measures are in place to secure and protect your personal information. Is Mevii HIPAA compliant?
Whether or not Mevii is subject to HIPAA, Mevii has been developed to comply with basic health industry standards to protect the integrity, security and confidentiality of an individual’s information, including relevant aspects of HIPAA. Thrive 4-7 takes special care to remove any personally identifiable information before we analyze information from your Mevii use. Please consult our Privacy Policy for more information.

Unless you opt out, Thrive 4-7, LLC may use and disclose aggregated, de-identified user statistics for lawful purposes which do not violate any of your privacy rights.

Can I elect to share my information?
Your information may only be retrieved using your username and personal password. Therefore, access is available only to those with whom you have shared your username and password.

Device Requirements for Mevii

What smartphone or tablet requirements are there?
Mevii is designed for smartphones, specifically iPhones and Android. Mevii is not optimized for use on a tablet.

What mobile devices are supported by Mevii?
Mevii is available on any of the following supported devices running iOS version 8, and Android 4.4 and higher.

Supported Devices: iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPod Touch, and Android 2.1 and up.

Will Mevii affect my data plan costs?
Like most apps, if you use your mobile data network to access Mevii, it could cause an increase in costs to your data plan. We encourage you to access Mevii while connected to Wi-Fi.

Will Mevii affect the battery life on my phone?
Like all apps, using Mevii will affect the battery life of your smartphone. Battery usage will be similar to that of browsing the internet on your smartphone.

Troubleshooting Mevii

How do I change my account details or password?
You can change your account details or password by clicking on the edit pencil on the Manage Profile page in the Menu. This menu is easily accessible by clicking the menu button in the upper left corner.

My login or password won’t work.
Click the “forgot my password” link on the login screen to reset your password. You will need access to the email address you registered with Mevii in order to complete the password reset process. If you do not receive the reset email in your inbox, please check your spam/junk folder. Still having trouble? Contact Support.

How can I change my email subscription preferences?
You can change your subscription preferences through the Manage Profile page in the Menu. Opt in or out of emails, text messages, or adjust your time zone for more appropriate alerts.

My session is ‘freezing’ or not downloading.
To report any app issues, Contact Support.

I just got a new iPhone, how do I access my saved information from my older iPhone?
Download the app, and login with your existing username and password. Your information is stored on the Mevii servers, not on your phone.

My Mevii video sessions aren’t playing, what should I do?
Ensure you are connected to the internet through your data plan or Wi-Fi access. It’s also a good idea to update your firmware to the latest edition. If you are still having issues, Contact Support.

How can I cancel my Mevii subscription?
Mevii users can cancel their account at any time by Contact Support. Changes will be effective at the end of the monthly renewal date for monthly accounts, and at the end of the year for annual accounts.
